FARGO, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota State, in last place in the

Missouri Valley Football Conference, is scrambling to find healthy

bodies.

Tight end Thor Brown, nose tackle Mike Fairbairn and linebacker

Matt Kittelson are the latest to be lost for the year. Brown and

Fairbairn have knee injuries, Kittelson has a sprained ankle.

Linebacker Preston Evans is questionable with a pinched nerve.

If he can`t play Saturday, the Bison would have four of their top

five linebackers sidelined by injuries.

Starting kicker Shawn Bibeau and backup kicker John Obarski have

been sidelined with pulled groins.

Coach Craig Bohl said freshman Jose Mohler will start his second

straight game at quarterback. He connected on 9 of 21 passes for

126 yards and one touchdown last week.

NDSU is 1-7 overall and 0-5 in the league, alone in last place.

The Bison are at Western Illinois (1-6, 0-4) on Saturday.
