The Class A playoffs get started on saturday and for the second straight year the des lacs burlington lakers qualify as the 4th seed out of Region 3. This has been a much more successful year for James Johnson`s Lakers, though as they improved from 1-7 to 4-4 this season. The Lakers have drawn the unenviable task of taking on top ranked Watford City on Saturday, and know they`ll need to avoid turnovers if they hope to pull off the upset. "We`re going to have to be very assignment sharp on defense. Offensively we need to keep improving like we have all season. I think the big thing is going to be turnovers. We can`t turn the ball over," says DL/B Coach James Johnson "I`m pretty impressed with them. Sometimes we get off a little slow and we can work on that for sure. As long as we get out there and just start off right away I think we can beat anybody," says Dl/b Seinor RB Dallas Oen. |
