The U-Mary women found a few things they do not want repeated.
"Just us not being as physical as them. I think we let them out-tough us and not play our game and we just let fouls and them get into our head mentally instead of just coming and playing our game," said guard Ali Collins.
"We can`t foul as much as we id and some of that was late clock that we certainly have to shore up because we can`t guard hard for 20 to 25 seconds and then bail them out at the end of the clock but I think overall we need to do a better job of making sure we make teams try to score the ball through us or over us and then when we do force that shot we have to make sure we rebound it better than we did this past week," said coach Rick Neumann.
The Marauders are also searching for a little more balance on the offensive end. At times, they`re relying too much on the 3-point shot.
"It`s nice when we make them but when we miss them it`s not the best so we really have to focus on our in & out game and not live, die by the 3," Collins said.
The Marauders host Winona tomorrow night. Then on Saturday they play Upper Iowa. It`s a doubleheader we invite you to watch live on NBC North Dakota Sports. Coverage starts at 4:00 central time.
