The Shiloh Christian Girls basketball team gets its season started tonight. The Skyhawks are coming off their most successful year in the program`s history, winning Region 5 and finishing in fourth place in the state tournament. The Skyhawks lost just one player to graduation in forward Kelly Schindler while returning four-fifths of their starting lineup including all-region player Mikayla Forness and all-state tournament player Paige Emmel.

"We`ve got to really push the tempo this year and it`s going to be our strength with so many girls back. We`ve got a pretty long athletic team. We`re going to want to run and get out a little bit more. Look for our speed to be one of our biggest strengths this year," said head coach Jim Petrik.

The Skyhawks are at home tonight taking on Beulah.
