Minot Police responded to a case of aggravated assault that happened inside a taxi cab. Officials say Patrick Johnson of Minot was picked up late last night by a local taxi company and taken to his destination. During the drive, Johnson was allegedly intoxicated and making passes at the female driver.

Then, according to the police report, Johnson hit the driver causing injuries. After Johnson was dropped off, the driver went to Trinity hospital where she was treated for a number of injuries related to the assault.

Officers arrested Johnson and he was taken to the Ward County Jail.
