Dead Cattle Found in McIntosh County | Video

The McIntosh County Sheriff is investigating a landowner after more than 100 cows were found dead on his land. Sheriff Laurie Spitzer says her office first received a report about the dead animals earlier this month. Most of them died in January.

Spitzer says the landowner told her the cows had died after they were chased into a barn by wild dogs, and trampled each other.

A state veterinarian is working on the case. The sheriff says the county State`s Attorney is reviewing the case for possible charges.
