Travel Alert Issued For Northwest North Dakota

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has issued a Travel Alert for the northwest region of North Dakota including the cities of Williston, Watford City, Killdeer, Minot and surrounding areas due to blowing and drifting snow creating icy conditions and reduced visibility. Conditions are such that motorists can still travel in these areas, but should reduce speeds and drive according to the road conditions.

All travelers are encouraged to monitor road conditions as weather conditions occur and use caution while traveling. For road information, call 511 from any type of phone or visit www.dot.nd.gov.
