Commercial Motor Vehicle Saturation Results

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the statistics from a one day commercial motor vehicle saturation that was conducted last week. The enforcement effort was conducted on February 27 in Stanley, New Town, Parshall and surrounding areas.

During the effort, 14 vehicles were weighed, with 10 of them being overweight. The drivers of the overweight vehicles were fined. There was a combined total of over $22,500 in fines collected.

Vehicle inspections were also performed during the saturation effort. A total of 12 vehicles and drivers were inspected. A total of 13 violations were found.
