We`re about halfway through the tax season and if you still need to get yours done you might qualify for free preparation. Volunteers with AARP are once again helping taxpayers at various sites around the state. Tax Commissioner Cory Fong says the program can help those with a moderate income and simple return and is available to people of all ages, whether you`re an AARP member or not.

"These volunteers here are seasoned professionals for several years. They`re back in now, volunteering, preparing taxes. But some of their clients are young people too, so it`s kind of this nice marriage between generations."
