New Water Depot Operational

A new industrial water depot north of Williston is now up and running. The Western Area Water Supply Authority depot is located at 13 Mile Corner, at the intersection of Highways 2 and 85. Oil companies will be able to use the water for hydraulic fracturing.

According to the Western Area Water Supply Authority, money made from selling the water to oil companies will be used to help pay for their residential infrastructure.
