Judge Could Rule on Future of Seized Horses | Video

A judge could rule tomorrow whether to allow Burleigh and Morton counties to adopt out or sell horses seized from a Morton County landowner. A petition filed today names William Kiefer as the owner of 38 horses and mules in Burleigh County and 119 in Morton.

The horses were seized last week after about 100 others were found dead.

Some were taken to the Triple H Miniature Horse Rescue in Morton county. Another horse died there early this morning.
