Natural Gas Incident Update

Montana Dakota Utility Service techs have been to every home and more than 95 percent of Watford City Businesses to restore service. Natural Service gas service to Watford City and Arnegard was lost after a contractor struck a natural gas transmission line.

If someone wasn`t available, the techs left a door hanger with instructions on who to call to have service restored. Those that did not receive a door hanger should call the MDU customer service department at 1-800-638-3278.

Residents are reminded to not attempt to relight their furnace, but wait for a service tech to ensure everything is working properly.
