Bakken Crude Going to New Jersey

Jennifer Joas | 1/15/2013
Bakken crude oil will soon be leaving the Peace Garden State, and heading to the Garden State of New Jersey. Phillips 66 recently signed a five-year contract with Global Partners LP to transport Bakken crude oil by rail to the Phillips 66 refinery in Bayway, New Jersey. The refinery is expected to take 50,000 barrels per day.

This comes after recent news of other refineries in Pennsylvania taking an interest in Bakken crude as well.
