The Bears Are Back | Video

Roosevelt Park Zoo welcomed some familiar faces over the weekend, some fuzzy faces. After a long 18 months, Judy, Sandy, and Goldie came back to the zoo. All three bears felt right at home the moment they stepped out of their crates Thursday evening.

Senior Zookeeper, Becky Zahn Walcker traveled to St. Paul, Minnesota where the bears have been kept and arranged for the return to Minot. "Once they were on the unloading dock, we then opened the door, and they just ran out and just started investigating the area as if it was no big deal to them. They shifted like we wanted them to or expected them to. It was great. It was just like they were back in their normal routine."

The Roosevelt Park Zoo says they are excited to open their doors this summer.
