Minot Resident to Receive Medal of Honor

A Minot resident is soon to receive the nation`s highest honor. Former active duty Staff Sergeant Clinton Romesh will be awarded the Medal of Honor for conspicuous gallantry during combat in October of 2009, while serving in Afghanistan.

Romesha and his family will join President Obama on February 11 at the White House for the award ceremony. He will be the fourth living recipient to be awarded the Medal of Honor for actions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
