U.S.S. North Dakota Commander Visits | Video

Tomorrow is U.S.S. North Dakota Day. The nuclear submarine bearing our state`s name will commissioned in 2014. The commander of the sub has been telling North Dakotans all about the new attack sub, and today he also checked out the STEM program at the Bismarck Career Academy.

Doug Gordon says the classes which focus on science, technology, engineering and math are of great interest to him. The commander is on a three day visit to North Dakota and will brief state legislators on the project tomorrow.
