Minot Man Arrested for Calling in Threats | Video

Sarahbeth Ackerman | 1/7/2013

A Minot man has been arrested for allegedly phoning in bomb threats to the Dakota Square Mall on Saturday evening. The Minot Central dispatcher received the call and actually recognized the caller as someone who called in threats before.

The caller claimed there was an explosive device at the mall. Officers quickly responded, but found nothing suspicious.

Shortly after, they arrested Patrick Cleveland of Minot and charged him with terrorizing. Terrorizing is a class C felony. Cleveland could face up to five years in jail and a $5,000 fine.
