Five Injured in Ice Fishing Explosion

Five men are badly burned after an apparent propane explosion while ice fishing. It happened at about 8:00 yesterday morning on the shore of Lake of the Woods. According to law enforcement, the furnace of their ice house apparently exploded.

Family members say the men were from the Grand Forks and Hillsboro areas. All five were taken to a local hospital and then airlifted out.
