Holiday Art Workshop | Video

Here`s a black Friday deal that most parents will agree is hard to beat. Today you could drop your kids off at Theo Art School and for only three dollars an hour they could draw and paint to their hearts content.

Sixth grader Savannah Vanguendy says she enjoys trying different mediums and styles of art.

"You just have to make some leaves and then kind of a background. It`s just like this one, except it`s not mine (laughs)."

"It`s for the kids to come, just be able to do a few art projects. It`s not like our regular camps that we do. They can just kind of come in and take things at their own pace and just do whatever projects they want to get done," said instructor Robyn Markhouse. "The older kids they just kind of can do things at their own, and we just let them use a little more of their creativity, and the younger ones we kind of take step by step, so they can do things a little bit more. So we just balance it out."

The young artists say they really enjoyed doing a project called "Save the White.".

"You put tape on a piece of paper and then when you take it off it`s white then you don`t get the blue on the tree part," said artist Kaylee Conklin.

Theo will be holding three more holiday half day workshops so kids can create art and parents can shop.

If you`re running out of time to make Christmas cookies you can send your kids to baking boot camp on the 22nd. They`re making and decorating cookies, cupcakes and other holiday treats.
