Bucyrus Donations Exceed $100,000

Donations continue to roll in for relief from the Bucyrus fire. Dakota Plains Federal Credit Union announced the "Bucyrus Disaster Relief Fund" has received in excess of $100,000 to aid the victims of the wildfire which destroyed a number of homes last month.

The credit union will continue to accept donations through their website at www.dakotaplainsfcu.com.

The credit union has also established a $50,000 pool of low-interest loans for members affected by the fire. New members will also be eligible for the loans. The maximum loan amount will be $5,000 per household.
