RC Car Races in Mandan | Video

More than a dozen RC Racers put their rides to the test at Wheels, Wings-N-Hobbies in Mandan Saturday afternoon. The event was part of a five race series sponsored by the Dakota Thunder RC club. Racers had to qualify to make it to the finals of their event and when they weren`t racing they were working on their vehicles behind the track.

First, second and third took home medals. These drivers say it`s a fun way to spend a Saturday Afternoon.

“You get out here and come out with a bunch of friends every week,” said racer Andrew Mongriel. “You travel around the state, three different tracks in the state here. And work on your vehicles all week and it all culminates at the race. It’s just a lot of fun.”
