Unofficial Results Released for District 28 Race

The Secretary of State`s office has released the unofficial results of a recount in the Republican legislative race in District 28 in the southeastern part of the state. Incumbents Michael Brandenburg and Bill Kretschmar will be on the November ballot.

Brandenburg had 2,051 votes, while Kretschmar has 1,468, which was only nine votes more than Jeffery Magrum with 1,459.

Barton Schott has 1,162.

The results will be made official after the State Canvassing Board meets on Friday.
