West Fargo Residents Find Stranger Sleeping on Couch

West Fargo police are urging people to lock their doors after one family found a stranger snoozing on their sofa overnight. Police got a call about a burglary in progress at a west-side apartment building at around one this morning.

Christopher Puppe of Hensel, N.D. Was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing. Residents of the apartment say Puppe helped himself to some food and used the bathroom before laying down on the couch.

Police say he got in through an unlocked front door.
