Some southeast Minot residents are objecting to a proposed apartment complex near their neighborhood.
The undeveloped area is zoned for multifamily housing. But neighbors say the seven, 36-unit apartment buildings planned by Dakota Commercial and Development Co. of Grand Forks could be an eyesore and could increase traffic to dangerous levels.
The city`s Planning Commission last week rejected the proposal for the complex. Because it does not require a zoning change, it does not have to go before the City Council. |
