I work two businesses out of my home in Bismarck. I’m a mother two year old Ben, and Samantha, six months old. My husband, Bill, is an Aviation Officer for the ND Army National Guard, where he flies the Blackhawk helicopter.

Being a mom and having a career was important to me, so I have decided to work from home so I can have both.

I serve as the Executive Director for the U.S. Durum Growers Association. I represent Durum producers across the nation. The U.S. Durum Growers Association mission is to provide a voice for durum producers on agricultural policy and the durum industry, while striving to keep producers informed about the latest technology in durum production.

I also work as an Independent Executive for ZRII. I’m one of the first people in North Dakota to introduce this new product to people in the Midwest. I look for people that want to improve their health through ZRII, but I’ m also looking for people that want to build this business with me.

Week 4 Starting Weight – 157 End of Week Two – 154 *I lost 3 lbs. in week #4. I`m almost half-way to my goal. I have set a goal of losing 30 lbs and 6” off my waist. This week, I lost a total of 2” off my waist and hips! I am excited about the results that the last four weeks will bring.

Week 3 Starting Weight – 161.8 End of Week Two – 157 *I lost 4.8 lbs. in week #3. I’m almost half-way to my goal. I have lost a total of 13lbs. since the Boot Camp Challenge began. This week, my greatest accomplishment was finally mastering a push-up! I can finally feel my upper body starting to strengthen as I shed those extra baby pounds I have been carrying around.

Week 2 Starting Weight – 167 End of Week Two – 164 *Lost 2 inches around my waist and chest, lost one inch around my hips Grand Total – 8 lbs. I am participating in “Boot Camp Challenge” to get rid of this extra baby weight. My goal is to lose “30” lbs and six inches around my waist and hips by the end of this program. I am working hard during the exercise, and keeping a food journal to track my daily calories, protein, carbs and fats. I am on target to reach my goal by losing 3 lbs each week. As a former athlete, I want to live my life as best as I can. I want to be a role model for my kids, and make “2009” my best year ever! I encourage everyone to change their mind because if they do they will change their body! I know I have and it is working!
