AMY FOX
Anchor, Reporter
Delivering you the latest Minot news every night is a dream come true!
I’m a Midwest girl at heart being born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I’m happy to call Minot my new home, but I have to admit, I’m not looking forward to the winter weather!
As a young child, I always loved telling stories and giving people the “grand tour” of the house. So, it came as no surprise to my family when I announced I wanted to pursue a career in broadcasting. I remember getting up every morning with my dad just, so I could watch Good Morning America.
I graduated cum laude in 2012 from Franklin College, in Franklin, Indiana, a small liberal arts college just outside of Indianapolis. I majored in broadcast journalism and public relations with a minor in political science.
Throughout college I had the opportunity to serve as an intern at a variety of media outlets, including Promotions Intern at Fun 101.7 (Fort Wayne, Ind.), News Department Intern at WANE-TV (Fort Wayne, Ind.), Media Intern at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, News Department Intern at WXIN-TV (Indianapolis, Ind.), and News Department Intern at WTHR-TV (Indianapolis, Ind.) At FC, I served as the Executive Producer, Anchor and Reporter for our student run newscast. I also served as the News Director and on-air personality for our campus radio station, WFCI, 89.5.
When I’m not behind the desk delivering news or out in the field reporting, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, cooking, antique shopping, and exercising. I look forward to getting involved in the community and making Minot my second home.
